After 35 years of running my manufacturing business (Trifibre) based in the UK and having previously handed over the role of MD to my son I was keen to make the jump to living abroad.
Despite my plans to move away, I was however still keen to retain involvement and visibility of Trifibre’s performance, forecasts, and finances. Previous to the development of Xapsys’ products and implementation within Trifibre this would not have been possible.
At the time we decided that Trifibre’s systems were in need of modernising in order to progress but off-shelf products from large system providers were not fitting for our processes and products and were extremely expensive. Additionally, I didn’t want to be bothering the team back in the UK for updates and static data. I needed fast access to data without the need for a VPN or a remote desktop.
Xapsys customised workflow management system, incorporating shop floor data collection and live cloud-based dashboard reporting linked into our Sage 200 ERP system was the answer to Trifibre and my own prayers. Further down the line we also incorporated Xapsys CRM management into our business which is faster and more cost-effective than our previous Sage CRM!
The Xapsys system now provides me with instant live data on my mobile or tablet with even a basic data connection. I can view sales and invoicing forecasts, live order levels and invoices, historical data, departmental performance, opportunities, stock and more in just a few clicks.
Xapsys has made the world my office so now I can work from here!
